The team visited local manufacturers such as Boxing Tianxing Food and Huachang Food, auditing production workshops, cold storage facilities, and quality inspection workflows. Key evaluations included raw material traceability, HACCP certification compliance, and adherence to MSC standards.
Jakarta, September 10, 2025 — A Chinese company today signed a long-term skipjack and yellowfin tuna supply agreement with Indonesia’s leading fisheries enterprise PT. XYZ in Jakarta, becoming the Indonesian firm’s largest overseas buyer. Under the contract, the Chinese company will procure over 100,000 tons of tuna annually, with a total value of $1.5 billion, primarily targeting European markets.
As a national hub for fisheries, Dongshan boasts 3,500-ton cold storage capacities and standardized processing infrastructure. Local enterprises, broadly certified under ISO 9001 and export hygiene registrations, primarily supply European and Southeast Asian markets. Discussions yielded agreements to upgrade frozen food processing technology and develop tailored supply chain solutions, alongside plans to optimize cold chain logistics networks in East China. This initiative lays a foundation for building a stable, sustainable seafood supply chain.
